A 1 carat price is a range, not a single number. Origin is the largest split.
A natural 1 carat round in a bright color and clean clarity costs more than a lab-grown 1 carat round with the same grades on the report. Both are real diamonds. The lab-grown stone is grown, not mined, and the market price is lower.

Inside one origin, cut, color, and clarity move the price. An Excellent-cut G VS1 round costs more than a Very Good J SI1 of the same carat. Rounds usually cost more than ovals and pears at the same grades because demand is higher.

Carat Mate does not publish a frozen price table. Inventory and wholesale prices move. Open the 1 carat lab-grown and 1 carat natural pages for the stones actually available, with the price on each listing.
Carat Mate lists certified loose diamonds for shoppers in the United States, Canada, the UAE, London, and Australia. Prices are in USD everywhere. We ship to the United States, Canada, the UAE, London, and Australia.
