Guides
Buying a lab-grown diamond online works when the listing is one specific stone with a report, photos, and a price, not a stock photo of a grade.
Open the lab report first. Confirm the stone is laboratory-grown, then read carat, color, clarity, cut, and measurements. The report number should be the one inscribed on the diamond.
Skip listings that promise a grade range (“about 1 carat, VS, G/H”) without showing the actual report. You cannot compare price until the stone is identified.

Cut grade, especially on rounds, predicts light return. It does not show a dark crystal under the table or a bow-tie across an oval. Watch the photo and 360° video at the carat weight you care about.
Compare two or three stones in a narrow carat band. A slightly lower color with a better cut often looks brighter than a higher color with a weak cut.

The price on Carat Mate is the live listing price in USD. Filter by budget after you set shape and a cut floor, so you are not sorting weak stones to the top.
Request the diamond you want. The team confirms that stone before payment and shipping. You are not buying an unnamed diamond that gets swapped for another report.

Certified loose diamonds ship to the United States, Canada, the UAE, London, and Australia. The lab report ships with the stone. Subject to review, we will take a return if we ship the wrong item, within 3 days after delivery.
Read the shipping and returns pages before you checkout so the timeline matches how you are buying.
