Is a lab-grown diamond required to be disclosed?

Yes. Buy only when the certificate itself discloses laboratory-grown. Do not rely on a product title alone.

US guides

The lab-grown disclosure US buyers should expect on a report

US shoppers are not being difficult when they ask to see that line.

The US decision

The inscription may repeat it. Your jeweler can read that later. You should see it in the PDF now.

What to verify

Natural diamonds should not be described with lab-grown photos, and the reverse. The catalog split on Carat Mate exists for that reason.

What to do next

Open the report and read the origin line before you request US delivery. Carat Mate ships the certified loose diamond and its lab report to United States addresses. Prices on the site are in USD. Wrong-item returns may be considered within 3 days of delivery, subject to review.
